Twitter For Blackberry set to Leave Beta

**Update*** Twitter version 1.0.0.45 is now officially available.  If you are already running the app go into “options>check for upgrade”.  If you are looking to try Twitter for Blackberry head on over to Blackberry Appworld and give it a try.****

This was bound to happen at some point, but it is now official that Twitter for Blackberry is going to finally come out of beta. The release is set for tonight and tomorrow and will be available from Appworld.

RIM has had Twitter in an open beta since April to get feedback from their users to be able to make an improved product. There are been a couple of updates to the app while in beta, a direct result from all of you Twitter users, and there are going to be a few more in the official release.

The full launch will include support for several additional languages:

-Portuguese EU
-Japanese
-Indonesian
-Russian
-Turkish
-Dutch
-Korean

This version will also feature “Go to User” – the ability to access any user’s profile from anywhere in the application using auto-complete functionality for followers.
