Review: Show Me The Images by BBerrygo!

What could make your Email experience better on your BlackBerry? Having the ability to show images on incoming Emails without the need to do anything! Well the developers of Show Me the Images (or SMTI for short) thought so as well. Before Show Me the Images was introduced you had to go into the menu and select “Get Images” with this application you no longer need to do that. You can now set it up the way you want it to be the first time and that’s it unless you need to make some changes.

What I like the most is the simplicity of it. You can either set it up to download all images, or only images from your addresses on your “safe list”. You also have the option to turn it off (none), download images from all, and finally setting up for all w/ blocklist in case you have a blocklist but want to receive from them too.

Ever since I have installed this on my BlackBerry it literally is one of the few that I have never deleted. It’s one that I use all the time without knowing it. When you have a safe list set and you want to add a new email address to the safe list you will get a notice within that email with the option to add it to the safe list without needing to go into any menus.

I did not run into any major issues. I did come across a problem of trying to save setting in the menu or through the icon. I was unable to keep the setting i wanted i would save but it would change back. Other than that i never had any other issues. This issue is with the new release i would expect they will have this fixed soon. I would have to say because of the customization and being able to pin point what email addresses to download images from is what makes helps this app get a high rating in my books. This price is not bad at all, a low $2.99 gets you this app. Which is even cheaper than most themes in App World.
