Is RIM working on a 3D device? Is this why they acquired TAT? So many questions without answers… RIM recently announced that they have acquired The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) to help with their QNX OS interface and that is all we know. The rumor mill is hard at work now that TechRadarcame across the below videos from TAT. Now the video’s are a concept from TAT, but it sure would be nice to see 3D capabilities come to a BlackBerry device. The concepts from TAT are very impressive they show home screen, 3D maps and contacts list. Apple and HTC are working on 3D capable displays for their devices.
