With RIM discontinuing ICQ and AIM IM clients AOL has stepped in and made their own AIM chat client. The new AIM includes Facebook chat in a free application!
Features of the AIM for BlackBerry:
- Chat with people using AIM or Facebook
- Update Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, foursquare and more using the built-in Lifestream features
- Send IMs or SMS text messages
- Post photos using your camera or upload a saved photo
- Share your location when updating your status
The app supports BlackBerry OS 4.5+ devices though some devices like the 9300 series are not included in the supported list. You can download the free AIM for BlackBerry app in App World or get more info on their website.
