RIM Says YES to No Porn in Indonesia!

A few days ago we posted this: BlackBerry Smartphones to be Censored In Indonesia? Well it seems as though RIM has agree to censor porn in Indonesia. RIM agreed to install filters after Indonesia threatened to revoke BlackBerry’s license to operate in the country. In a qoute from Yahoo News: “RIM’s managing director for Southeast Asia Gregory Wade said the company had discussed the issue with the six operators that support BlackBerry service in Indonesia and “we’ll be implementing together.” Apparently RIM told government officials that they will have the filters in place with in 100 hours after the meeting ahead of the January 21st deadline. RIM has also agreed to set up servers in Indonesia. What are your thoughts on this topic?
