Poynt has received a small update today from v1.7.0.47 to v1.7.0.56. back on January 11 we told you about Poynt being updated to v1.7.0.47. The update included a slew of new features:
- Find phone numbers, browse websites and map directions with one click
- Reverse look-up missed calls from the BlackBerry® Call log
- Plan a night out without exiting the application – find restaurants, read reviews and make dinner reservations (US/CA/UK only) then watch trailers, view showtimes and buy movie tickets (US/CA only) for a theatre near you
- BlackBerry® Messages notification of movie ticket receipts (US/CA only)
- Add listings to your BlackBerry® Address Book, add movie and restaurant events to your BlackBerry® Calendar, share listings with friends using BlackBerry® Messages
- Integrated weather display changes based on the conditions around you, click to view 5-day forecast
- Complete a search, then map a route using BlackBerry® Maps
Well the update today brings some much needed bug fixes for OS 5 users. Us OS 5 users were getting errors like: GPS Not Supported” and the app was falling back to using the cellular tower location method.
