Review: Mugen Power Batteries for the BlackBerry Bold 9700

I have been looking for a long time for the best battery, an extended yet OEM fit/replacement for my BlackBerry Bold 9700. I have finally found it, Enter Mugen Power. Mugen manufactures aftermarket OEM fit and extended batteries for all different types of devices. The battery I am talking about is for the Blackberry Bold 9000/Bold 2 9700 1800mAh extended replacement battery. Now the stock OEM battery that comes with your BlackBerry Bold 9700 is 1500mAh that is an increase of 300mAh with the extended battery from Mugen. One of the best things about this battery is the fact that it is a direct replacement which means NO extended battery door, which allows you to still use any and I mean any case available for you BlackBerry Bold 9700. Now Mugen does offer a 3600mAh which is an all-out extended battery with a replacement batter door. Stock case will not work with this battery but you will be able to get approximately 30+ hours of use out of it. The 1800mAh battery we have tested averages about 12-15 hours of heavy use, under lite use you can get an average of about 25-30 hours. The quality of Mugen product is superior compared to other extended batteries I have tried.

If you are looking for a great reliable extended battery for almost any device in the market we say give Mugen Power a try you will not be disappointed at all. When you first get your Mugen Power Battery in there is a charging sequence you will have to do to get the full charging capabilities out of your new battery (this will vary by device). With our BlackBerry Bold 9700 the initial charges went like this:

• Batteries should be charged 3-5 times to achieve stated capacity.
• Always charge the new battery for at least 12 hours before use.
