BlackBerry Protect Being Released in Two Weeks?

It looks as if RIM is getting ready to finally release BlackBerry Protect in the coming weeks.  If you ask me, this is something they should have released way sooner.   The folks over at BerryReview got their hands on an email from RIM saying that the Beta for BlackBerry Protect is winding down and they are preparing for a public release.

Furthermore, RIM sent an email to all current BlackBerry Protect users advising them that the service would be down beginning February 23rd and would be down for about two weeks.  In that time, the clients and the website will be offline and they, RIM, will be deleting all current users data from the service.  If you are a current BlackBerry Protect user, please make sure you have a current back of your device.  You may do this through BlackBerry Desktop Manager.  RIM has confirmed that the service will be back up and running in two weeks or so.

I cannot wait for RIM to release this, as I believe this would benefit the majority of BlackBerry users out there who rely on their BlackBerry to keep organized.  I know that I use my BlackBerry for everything, and would be lost without it.

With RIM releasing BlackBerry Protect in the coming weeks, it fits the scheduled release of BES 5.0.3 which will bring IT polices and support for BlackBerry Protect.
