At last week’s PlayBook launch event, Mike Lazaridis made a mention of a few key features of the PlayBook that have not really been discussed until now. The first of the features is the fact that the PlayBook will be recieving DNLA certification. There are quite a few different things that DNLA will do for the PlayBook. The biggest thing about this certification is the fact that the PlayBook will be able to tap into thousands of DNLA certified devices that are on the market.
This basically means that you can stream video and other media to your tv or computer directly from the Playbook. In addition, you might be able to control your tv or a/v system in the future.
