The folks over at N4BB have added a new item to the rumor mill coming from RIM. Supposedly the Waterloo camp is working on a rival to to Apple’s “Apple TV” accessory that they have had on the market for a while. It is rumored to function on the same software/hardware group that the Playbook is using.
As for the how does it work end of this, we are still a little foggy about this. Rumors point to a set-top box/BlackBerry Presenter option that will allow for a bit more handset intergration then what has been seen with the Apple TV. We will keep you informed as more detail emerge.
