The Blackberry Playbook OS has just been approved and has its FIPS certification. This means that the OS is secure and that government and agencies, can use the Playbook securely. This is not surprising considering the Playbook has not been jailbroken like many other tablets and devices. It is reassuring with such certification that many new features will be release to the Playbook soon. RIM were ready!
