Contract prices for newly launched phones normally don’t drop within days of launching. However, in this case Rogers was asking for a whopping $250 on a 3 year contract for the Blackberry Bold 9900. Rogers was the highest contract price of the 3 big mobile carriers in Canada, the other two being Telus and Bell.
I still think $199 is a bit high, but it’s a move in the right direction.
