We found these pics over on BlackBerryEmpire.com and decided that we should share them with you. As stated this is supposedly a T-Mobile Bold 9900 running on the T-Mobile 4G network, and surprisingly the speeds seem a little slugish to us. Since I am a curious type of fellow I decided to run the same speed test on my Rogers Bold 9900 and see what I got for numbers (hit the jump to see the comparison). According to the screenshots this Bold 9900 is running on OS 18.104.22.1687 and on 3G/4G bands of 1,4, and 8. Now this could be a fake, but it does look like the real thing. So hit the jump and check out those speed test results!!
Now to clarify my speeds, I do live out in the country where there isn’t always the best reception, but I did find a spot where I had about 3 or 4 bars to conduct my Rogers version test. And I am sure that someone will point out in the second screenshot of my Bold 9900 the WiFi is on, but that was taken after the test was completed as you can see in the first pic WiFi is off. As you can see in the pics below the latency on the Rogers 9900 is much higher, but the overall speeds are higher than those of the T-Mobile 4G version. So is the T-Mobile 4G Bold 9900 to slow in your mind? Please let us know by dropping us a comment.
