Marmalade Cross Platform SDK Adds BlackBerry PlayBook Beta Support!

Do you love Need for Speed Shift of Gold Battle 3D? Well it seems Marmalade, formally Airplay is an creating some cross platform application using SDK’s that allows developers to create apps and games in Visual C++ and have them run on multiple platforms. They have support for all platforms including our favorite Blackberry! And although many of the C/C++ standard libraries can be reused with existing C++ code or repurpose Objective-C codes that are currently in beta, it is good to know they are avaliable. Considering that RIM has not yet made the native PlayBook native C++ SDK public yet beyond a limited beta, so it seems they are already getting a start on our favorite “future ready” device!

    I think we should see some great content as well, more software developers use C/C++ codes and it would be great to have such development on the Playbook, not to mention QNX devices coming soon!
