Vodafone Spain and Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) are today launching the new BlackBerry® Bold™ 9900 smartphone, the thinnest BlackBerry® smartphone yet. The high-performance BlackBerry Bold 9900 smartphone features a stunning and iconic design that integrates an incredibly easy-to-use BlackBerry keyboard with a brilliant, high resolution, capacitive touch screen. This exceptional smartphone is built on a new, performance-driven platform powered by the BlackBerry® 7 operating system and it is designed to deliver the ultimate in communications, multimedia and productivity for users around the world. The BlackBerry Bold 9900 integrates the new BlackBerry 7 operating system (OS).
