If your like me I know you are very upset that the much-anticipated Blackberry Playbook OS 2.o update is not to be released until February. Yes I am currently loving the developer version of the Playbook OS 2.o, and it lacks the Blackberry Bridge features, but is possible with this work around, I am still not happy. We all aren’t too sure as to why there is a delay to the new OS 2.0 to bring about new Android apps to our beloved playbook. But it seems that culprit seems to be the application availability. You know the app ecosystem that RIM has been touted for in the past. The Blackberry Playbook OS 2.o has been held back for this reason. Currently at the moment there just aren’t enough Android applications available to the end users for the update be released. RIM is making it easier for developers to port their apps to the Playbook, but the rate at which this is happening is great but RIM is not satisfied with the amount just yet. It seem that once the app ecosystem for the Playbook and the BBX OS is up to par, then RIM will likely release the 2.0 OS for all of us to love! Along with this new OS we expect PIM app, and improved UI with TAT along with some digital content from NewBay.
So RIM I say to you again, HURRY UP!!!
