As 2011 comes to a close, Wikitude was announced the “Best Augmented Reality Browser” in 2011 by the readers of Augmented Planet today. This is a great triumph for Wikitude as the AR platform holds this title for the third year in a row.
Each year, the leading international Augmented Reality (AR) blog Augmented Planet (www.augmentedplanet.com) asks the AR community to vote for their favorite AR experiences. Entered into the categories of Best Augmented Reality Browser and Best Augmented Reality Developer Platform or Tool, Wikitude came away with a trophy in each hand!
“Winning the Best Augmented Reality Browser award for a record third year in a row is a great achievement. We were even more delighted to hear that we had also won the Best Augmented Reality Developer Platform or Tool as this proves that our enabling platform approach is spot on. This is an outstanding accomplishment and we would like to thank all Wikitude users and developers for their support” said Wikitude CEO Martin Herdina, when he heard the great news.
