BlackBerry users in India may have something to smile about very soon! Vodafone and Airtel have announced plans to release new fixed rate plans that will let the user have unlimited usage plans for BlackBerry Messenger.
Vodafone plans on launching “Go BBM” unlimited access to BBM for a cost of Rs.5 per day or Rs.129 per month on a pre-paid plan. The plan will run Rs. 129per month for post-paid subscribers. Airtel’s unlimited BBM plan for post-paid customers will run Rs. 129 per month. Airtel’s plan will also include 300 local and national SMS to BlackBerry users. Vodafone subscribers that purchase a BlackBerry Curve 8520 or BlackBerry Curve 9300 by the end of February 2012 will receive one year of unlimited access to BBM from the date of purchase.
