Research In Motion has once again in the news for a supposed buyout of their company by other vendors. And today according to recent rumors from BGR, RIM is planning to being offered to Samsung for sale of its license to its software, and that they may outright sale of one or more divisions, or even the company in it entirety. RIM is supposedly reporting to sale the company for a full $10 billion, with a $12 billion to $15 billion range, or between approximately $22.90 and $28.60 per share. RIM’s market capitalization currently sits at $8.5 billion, meaning RIM would gain a profit from the buyout of Samsung.
