Engineers in Waterloo have been developing some new things to help bring RIM back to the fore front of cellular technology. RIM patented a Fuel Cell Manufacture in hopes of utilizing this in the next generation of phones that they will release to the market place. The whole idea behind the fuel cells is that you will be able to recharge your phone on the go by just using it. There will be some new innovations with the keyboard that will allow you to charge the phone just by pressing keys on the device. RIM has been very hush hush about the specifics that entail this process but as with all things that come out of Waterloo, time will tell and RIM will reveal exactly how this will become a part of the future handsets.
