So basically, I love television. But with my super busy schedule, it’s hard to get to sit down on the couch and pick something to watch. I know which shows I like, so I’d really love easy access to them wherever I am. Which brings me to Tablet TV for PlayBook. Easily one of the greatest apps I’ve ever stumbled on while cruising through App World. And it was just updated, which means even more great improvements!
With Tablet TV you’ll have access to many FREE (and paid channels, if you wish) cable channels wherever you have Wifi or can’t Bridge with your BlackBerry. Tablet TV provides you with so many U.S., Canadian, and European channels, such as:
USA Channels:
ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, TBS, Spike, FX, History, Channel, Discovery Channel, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, A&E, VH1, MTV, HGTV, TV Land, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Oxygen, CSPAN, CSPAN2, Animal Planet, Food Network, Lifetime, PBS, Disney Channel
Canadian Channels:
CBC, Discovery, CTV, The Comedy Network, Global TV, History, Treehouse, MTV, HGTV, History Channel, Food Network
European Channels:
BBC iPlayer, BBC News, CBBC
User Submited Content:
Reddit, Youtube, Twitvid, Justin.tv
And there’s even more free channels, plus the optional paid channels that you can gain access to through a subscription!
Paid Channels:
ESPN Live, EpixHD.com, AT&T U-Verse, BTN3GO, MaxGo (Cinemax), HBOGO, MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, LiveOnlineFooty, Dish Network, DirecTV, TruTV
(Note: there are a few paid channels that I did not mention that are not currently working at this time.)
Now I’m just waiting for the day that they add Bravo and TLC! For the time being though, I’ve got to say that the channels I can access, even the free ones, are satisfying enough for me!
