We have seen lots of leaked goodness on BlackBerry 10 this week and now we have even more information. The rumor floating around now is that the N-series will be very similar in size to the Bold 9790. The BlackBerry 10 N-series will NOT I repeat NOT have a TrackPad.
As you can see in the slide here on this post RIM has found a way to marry Blackberry 10 with a QWERTY keyboard . RIM is working on a way to “augment the QWERTY keyboard with a streamlined touch version of extended keyboard commands.” There are two solutions here: One solution for combining touch and QWERTY input could be to have word completion overlay the screen estate that Action Bar normally occupies.
One solution for combining touch and QWERTY input could be to have umlaut overlay the screen estate that Action Bar normally occupies.
We know that the N-Series will have swipe gestures just like the PlayBook built in to a nice 720×720 square OLED screen. What you you think about not having a track pad? We really don’t think it is necessary to have it. Let us know in the comments!
