There have been email circulating that tell the recipient that their BlackBerry ID has been created. Unfortunately these emails are fake and are attempting to spread viruses to the unlucky person who opens the ZIP file attached to the email.
This virus campaign was brought to our attention from the good folks at BerryReview. They managed to get a screen shot of what the email looks like and from what we can see it seems to be a rather legit looking email with the from address of “donotreply@blackberry.com”. In addition it seems as though the zip file contains a trojan virus that will download/drop additional files on to your computer and wreak havoc on your system.
