The Iphone will be the phone of choice for The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. They will no longer be using Blackberries after they have ended their 8 year partnership. This is not really a surprise as other government departments are choosing other devices, but it does deliver a blow to RIM.
ICE will be purchasing as many as 17,000 devices for the agency to use.
RIM hasn’t released a new OS in a year now and still months to go before Blackberry 10 launches, so maybe in the future we will see a return Blackberry being the business device.
