A team of students from the Kerala have won the BlackBerry JamHack in Bangalore. The team won after a grueling 40-hour, non-stop, coding marathon where their app come out victorious.
The team consisted of Jibin Jose, Anoop Nayak, Nithin George and Bijin Abraham, who came up with the app “Story Board” — — an innovative application that provides a novel way of showcasing presentations using BlackBerry mobile phones, a press release said.
“We love hearing and telling stories. So we thought of creating an apps which will convert a boring conventional presentation into a story-telIing experience,” said Quedge’s Nithin George.
“My team is proud to have created this product and to have survived 40-hours of coding,” he said.
The team is now going to be heading to Bangkok for BlackBerry Jam Asia, where they will compete against other international teams for the big prize. The prize will include cash, as well as a trip to attend the highly anticipated Global launch of the new BlackBerry 10 platform and devices.
