Verizon customers will be happy to know that there is a new official OS being pushed out to the BlackBerry Bold 9930, OS 7.1.0.755. You can check for the OS update by going to Options>Device>Software Updates or by plugging your Bold 9930 in to a PC and us desktop manager to check for updates. Or if Verizon is not your carrier. Note: If Verizon is not your carrier please remember that you must delete both vendor.XML files prior to loading. The first vendor.xml file is located in c:program files>common files>research in motion>apploader to install it on a different carriers device. As well as C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (Where “YOUR_USER” is your username) for the second vendor.XML file.     When I download the setup file to my PC and run it I get a popup error “error reading setup initialization file “. The file is from Verizon wireless site. I’ve tried it on different pc and same thing.
