Probably just a placeholder for Bell since they don’t know which day it will be released yet and the 28th is the last day in the month. I remember some RIM exec saying that it will be released within a couple of weeks and 799 for the device seems very high.

I think the price is defintely wrong here (as for the rest of the leak, who know?) Because Bell has already stated the est. Retail Value of the BB10 phones they are giving away as $700. For them to undershoot that estimation makes no sense.

I think there has to be some form of disconnect here. I know of 4 “leaked” carrier dates from various blogs and forums, and cannot understand for the life of me, why carriers would push out a handset that is being unveiled on January 30th, 4-6 weeks after the announcement. It doesn’t make sense. As for the price, well, I think that is a kick in the nuts. It may do some damage to their adoption rates unless most would be those who are mid contract or waiting to upgrade.
