I do not think should have priced the device so high. They have to remember that the 5s and S4 are coming out around the same time

Gary, I’m not sure how you’re forgetting this, but carrier testing started way back in October. We’re coming up on 4 months any day now. In addition, it passed FCC testing some time ago. Sure you still want to make that comment?

BlackBerry has to ensure that their largest markets get devices first, and unfortunately the UK and Canada are two of the larger ones. I think if US carriers had committed to a large push of the Z10 they would have seen earlier launch dates as well. Hopefully we will see release dates pushed up in the US, but either way I do not believe we can exonerate the US carriers of any blame.

I have owned every BB since 2005, so I’m a fan boy. But I believe this is all on Blackberry. They know how long it takes for it to pass FCC and typically how long in the states it takes carriers to test . When it was announced that they had released phones to 50 carriers for testing, they were aware how long they typically take. Eventhe blogs stated it takes 60-120 days to test. They should have gotten the phone in the hands of the FCC and Carriers sooner!
