Instagram running nicely in the BlackBerry 10 Browser

Lol. Seems like Instagram went mobile, and the amazing BlackBerry 10 Browser makes it quasi-app like experience, this is what their actual site looks like on your laptop pretty much. It’s bare bones but maybe it’ll go full HTML5 web app in the future, hmm. Never the less, the wait for Instagram on BB10 is over? I still expect a native app to come down the pipeline in a timely manor. But this is a good start, the Browser is a champ and makes the experience “decent” Instagram needs to keep up their development but a nice start on their end.

    Instagram doesn’t currently allow you to set-up an account from the Instagram website.
    Instagram user you can log-in from the website, so this is only really an option for existing Instagram users (with an account).

    So? Nobody owns a computer anymore? They can’t just create an account on their computer? Minor inconvenience for the time being.

    You can’t set-up an Instagram account online (computer or mobile) which seems odd for for a service which will want to remove barriers to joining, only through the app (iPhone and Android).
    Therefore Instagram on the BlackBerry Z10 is currently only really an option for those who already have an account set-up already (existing user).
    Big inconvenience if you don’t have an account (potential new users).
