T-Mobile to Launch the BlackBerry Z10 around March 24th and the iPhone 5 in April

TMobilelogoWell I just had a very interesting conversation with a T-Mobile customer care representative. The call was spawned by me wanting to see if I could be classified as a business customer to get my hands on a BlackBerry Z10 before the device launched for everyone else. As we all know T-Mobile released the BlackBerry Z10 to it business customers yesterday becoming the first mainstream US wireless provider to launch the device here in the states.

As the call went on I asked the representative specifically what he thought about the BlackBerry Z10? His response was it is a great device that will have LTE on T-Mobile’s network. He also said that he just finished his training on the device last week. We then I asked him when was T-Mobile going to release it for everyone? He said “We will be releasing the BlackBerry Z10 on March 24th.” I thought to myself AWESOME, wait the 24th is a Sunday.. Then he stated that the Z10 would launch somewhere between the 24th to the 26th.

I know that this is a BlackBerry website but I thought this was good information to post up… The representative told me that T-Mobile will in fact launch the iPhone 5 in April, no specific date was giving.

So all and all this was a great conversion I had with that T-Mobile rep. Let us know what you think in the comments.

Funny thing is I thought about calling to see if I could get one of the reps to get me the device early also but that date gives us about 2wks which isn’t that bad

    I agree Skinny. It’s a shame I couldn’t get the device lol.

I think the rep has no clue. He first quoted the 24th, then he probably realized that was a Sunday, and gave a datr range. I dont believe a carrier says to its staff, ” we will release the phone between the 24th-26th. I would think it would be a concrete date, say, the 27th maybe.
