Please note: It can take a while to get first GPS fix, best done outdoors with clear view of sky. The Playbook disables the GPS, when the screen turns black, as track recording and active waypoint navigation rely on real-time GPS location, these features will not work accurately, unless you make provision to maintain the active screen.     It is not possible for playbook user to keep screen active when in full view without touching the screen every 5 minutes. The app programmer has access to this function, as seen in several good apps such as speech timer. Poor program design! By the way the app is poor performer on playbook anyway.
