New Features for LinkedIn version 10.0.3/10.1.3

• Find your current contacts on LinkedIn: With the latest update, you can import the personal address book from your BlackBerry 10 device to LinkedIn, making it easier to view and connect to your contacts on LinkedIn.
• UI improvements: We’ve updated the overall design of the LinkedIn application for BlackBerry 10 to improve the user experience. These updates include improved visual styling, better pull down functionalities for refreshes, touch down feedback on clicking list items, and more.

• Follow and learn about companies :An important element of LinkedIn is the ability to connect to companies and subscribe for company related updates and content. The latest version of LinkedIn for BlackBerry 10 allows you to view information about the companies you follow in greater detail, such as:

Edit Profile Screen: Ability to upload or update the Banner Header picture via the Media Gallery or device camera.

• UI is completely redesigned and aligned more closely with other mobile Twitter clients.
• Unique to the BlackBerry client is ability to click and view the Location Info on a map.
• The existing Profile Thumbnail picture has been moved and is overlayed in the middle Pane 1 along with Screen Name and Username.
• Swiping goes to pane 2 and shows Bio Text, Location and Website information.
• If Bio Text is too long for Pane 2, it will be truncated with ellipsis and Location and URL will appear on Pane 3

One of my all-time favorite Twitter applications for BlackBerry is Blaq (next to UberSocal). Blaq has been around for a few years ans up until now we have not heard anything from Kisai Labs on them bringing Blaq to BlackBerry 10. That has all changed Kisai Labs and Baselime have teamed up to collaborate on bring Blaq to BalckBerry 10!!  Kisai Labs has set up a new webpage letting us know that “in the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more and more about our all-new rebuilt-from-the-ground–up Blaq experience, designed to delight you around every corner, and provide the most intuitive, original interaction you’ve ever had with Twitter, on BlackBerry10 and beyond.” Hit the break for more.
