If you are on AT&T and are waiting for them to release the BlackBerry Q10, you can sign up to be notified once the device has been released. Now during BlackBerry Live last week BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins let the world know that the BlackBerry Q10 would launch sometime in June. June is not that far off so make sure you register for updated on the AT&T BlackBerry Q10!

AT&T is doing a trade in program starting tomorrow, May 1st. If you have a smart phone to trade in, you can get at least $100 off, and put towards a two year contract to buy another phone. With the trade in value, a two year contract for a Z10 will cost $99.99 instead of $199.99. Since the Q10 isn’t out yet, you may not be able to take advantage of this promotion. But this is a really good deal for the Z10!

AT&T Offers Newest Smartphones at 50 Percent-Off with Trade-In of Current Smartphone

DALLAS, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Beginning May 1, consumers who trade in their current smartphone to AT&T* will be eligible to receive at least $100 off the purchase of a new smartphone, including the new Samsung Galaxy® S 4, BlackBerry® Z10 or 32 GB HTC One®. These devices are normally $199.99 with a qualifying two-year agreement** but, with this limited time promotion, they will be available for $99.99.

This promotion applies to any smartphone AT&T sells, and gives customers access to the latest devices at a fraction of the cost or, in the case of smartphones priced under $99.99**, for free. To take advantage of this offer, customers are encouraged to visit any AT&T company-owned retail store or participating authorized dealer with their previous smartphone that is no more than three years old and in good, working condition. AT&T rolling out OS 10.0.10.822 for the BlackBerry Z10

I just received a tip from a very reliable source that AT&T is is currently rolling out an OS updated to the BlackBerry Z10 to OS 10.0.10.822 (Software Release 10.0.10.116). At this time their is currently no change log available. You must be on WiFi to pull in the download as it will not download over AT&T’s wireless network. AT&T getting ready for BlackBerry Z10 launch – Stock and demo units hit some stores

We are only two days away from the BlackBerry Z10 being available on AT&T, and it looks like the carrier is ramping up for the day. There have been numerous reports that AT&T stores have started to get their stock in of the Z10, as well as some employees have been given devices to try to use before the launch date. There are of course demo units at the stores and ready to be put in place beside all the other demo units.

There has been a lot of buzz in the BlackBerry community regarding the launch of the Z10, but it remains to be seen whether or not we see the same amount of customers switching platforms, to come to BlackBerry 10, as was reported in the Canadian, UK and India launches. Below is the packaging for the AT&T Z10, and hopefully we will see some lucky fans get their devices shipped to them early….. Its happened before, so why not this time around.

Data Hungry Users now Have 3 Additional Options From AT&T

Today AT&T introduced 3 new tired data plans for their wireless customers in the US using the Mobile Share Data plans. The plans will allow users to have up to 50GB of data each month. The 3 new plans are as follows:

30 GB of data for $300
40 GB of data for $400
50 GB of data for $500

These plans hit you twice when you move to them because you will also need to pay the $30 fee per smartphone that is on the plan. Looking at these prices you realize that they are directed towards business customers. There is a max of 15 devices on the 30 GB plan, 20 devices on the 40 GB plan, and 25 devices on the 50 GB plan.

If a regular consumer purchases these plans they will be limited to only 10 devices on the plan.

Pre-Order BlackBerry Z10 at Costco Through AT&T And Verizon.

Last week we told you that Costco was going to be selling the Z10. At the time it wasn’t apparent who was going to sell it through Costco. Now they have opened up the pre-orders and they are offering it through AT&T and Verizon.
The cost is $199 on a two year contract, and it shows as a savings of $79.99. Only the black version available in the pre-order. I also noticed that Verizon is listed but not T-Mobile yet. It is also being sold for $199 on a two year contract but you can pick from either black or white.
