BlackBerry stated that they would continue selling legacy devices to markets. The BlackBerry Curve 9220, and 9360, along with the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and 9900 now join MTS Ukraine! You can get the BlackBerry 9220 Curve UAH 1,739; or UAH 1,349 for new subscribers, and for UAH 1 for current subscribers.  The 9360 Curve is priced at UAH 3,089; or for UAH 2,699 with a subscription. The 9790 Bold costs UAH 4,119; priced at UAH 3,729 by new subscribers. Finally the 9900 Bold costs UAH  5,489; new subscribers can get it for UAH 5,099.

In a tweet this morning MTS announced that customers can now add their names to the list for BlackBerry 10 devices at select Connect Stores.  Hopefully they will add a pre-order section to their site, for those customers that cannot make it out to one of the select stores.  It is great to see so many Canadian carriers launching BlackBerry 10, hopefully we will start to see more pre-orders go live down in the US shortly.

Here we are in December already… Where did the time go??? We here at NerdBerry want to celebrate the holidays in a HUGE way! Starting today and ending on December 23 we are going to be running a Holiday Photo Contest from RIM and NerdBerry!!! We have TWO BlackBerry prize packs up for grabs. The two prize packs consist of one T-Mobile Branded BlackBerry Bold 9900 and one 32GB BlackBerry PlayBook!! We have put a lot of thought in to this contest and we have come up with the Holiday Photo Contest!

How do you enter? Of course you MUST do the regular stuff  such as – “Like” our Facebook page, Follow us on Twiter, Subscribe to our YouTube Channel and leave a comment letting us know the top three have been completed…

Because this is such a huge contest we are going to throw in one more thing, don’t fret it is not hard.  All you have to do is take a picture of your current smartphone next to your favorite holiday item such as your Christmas tree, favorite food, favorite ornament, favorite holiday movie, etc.. Send it in to us with a caption explaining why you chose that particular holiday item. Remember be creative, get your family involved after all it is the holidays and most of all have fun doing it!

Submit your photos via email to info@nerdberry.net Using the subject “Holiday Photo Contest from RIM and NerdBerry!!”.  Photo’s must be received by no later then December 23rd 2012. On December 24th the NerdBerry team will post all of the photo’s and captions received and we will announce the two winners on December 25, 2012.

The video above is of a guy named Malte Spitz for TED. He talks about how his phone company had his data, all the way back from 6 months and they wouldn’t give it to him. He sued, got the data and was able to visualize the data from that time. In short, be careful what you have on your phone Big Brother, er, (Insert your phone company here) is watching.

The price for the 9360 on contract is a respectable $29.99, if you are wanting to purchase this phone outright, load the tub with ice and get ready to shell out $509.99.  Seems completely overpriced to me, but hey if that is what you want to spend 5 bills on feel free…
