Videotron was a little late to the party in Canada when it comes to releasing the BlackBerry Z10, but their customers can now get on for $99.  Now to get that $99 price tag you will have to have a plan that is $49.95 or more, but they are offering several different price points.

If you are looking to get a Z10 from Videotron without any contract or renewal it is going  to cost you $600.  Now that the Z10 is available on the Quebec carrier, the only carriers in Canada that are not yet carrying the Z10 are Mobilicity and Eastlink.  Hopefully both of those carriers will release the Z10 shortly, and then BlackBerry fans on any carrier in Canada will be able to get a new Z10.

Here we are in December already… Where did the time go??? We here at NerdBerry want to celebrate the holidays in a HUGE way! Starting today and ending on December 23 we are going to be running a Holiday Photo Contest from RIM and NerdBerry!!! We have TWO BlackBerry prize packs up for grabs. The two prize packs consist of one T-Mobile Branded BlackBerry Bold 9900 and one 32GB BlackBerry PlayBook!! We have put a lot of thought in to this contest and we have come up with the Holiday Photo Contest!

How do you enter? Of course you MUST do the regular stuff  such as – “Like” our Facebook page, Follow us on Twiter, Subscribe to our YouTube Channel and leave a comment letting us know the top three have been completed…

Because this is such a huge contest we are going to throw in one more thing, don’t fret it is not hard.  All you have to do is take a picture of your current smartphone next to your favorite holiday item such as your Christmas tree, favorite food, favorite ornament, favorite holiday movie, etc.. Send it in to us with a caption explaining why you chose that particular holiday item. Remember be creative, get your family involved after all it is the holidays and most of all have fun doing it!

Submit your photos via email to info@nerdberry.net Using the subject “Holiday Photo Contest from RIM and NerdBerry!!”.  Photo’s must be received by no later then December 23rd 2012. On December 24th the NerdBerry team will post all of the photo’s and captions received and we will announce the two winners on December 25, 2012.

The video above is of a guy named Malte Spitz for TED. He talks about how his phone company had his data, all the way back from 6 months and they wouldn’t give it to him. He sued, got the data and was able to visualize the data from that time. In short, be careful what you have on your phone Big Brother, er, (Insert your phone company here) is watching.
