RIM Releases Official Statement in Regards to DingleBerry Root!

The DingleBerry root for the BlackBerry PlayBook was just released yesterday, Today however RIM has released the following statement in regards to the exploit:

RIM Not a Culprit in Class-Action Lawsuit Against Carrier IQ, Manufacturers and Carriers

A class-action lawsuit was filed against Carrier IQ, manufacturers and carriers. The defendants in the case include Apple, Sprint, AT&T, Samsung and Motorola, also it has been confirmed that T-Mobile does, but does not include RIM. RIM has stated that they do not authorize the application Carrier IQ on Blackberry devices, nor authorized in carrier presale.
