At the beginning of May Gold & Co. London released images and price points for their gold BlackBerry Q10, today Goldgenie has released their version of the BlackBerry Q10 in gold. Goldgenie is currently selling the BlackBerry Q10 in gold for $2,500 (£1597.00). The Q10 “has a 24ct. Gold plated bezel around outside housing and 24ct. Gold integrated panel below key pad.” The gold Q10 comes in a “Luxury Finished Box”, if you plan on picking one up let us know in the comments what you think about the gold Q10.

Review: PowerSkin Case for the BlackBerry Z10

What goes through your mind when you pull your BlackBerry Z10 out of your pocket and notice your battery is almost completely dead? Panic, fear, that lost sensation? I know I am not the only one that has these fears of what I like to call “battery drain syndrome”. There is a way to beat this battery drain syndrome and we are here to tell you how! I know a lot of BlackBerry Z10 owners are always looking for a charging source weather it be a wall outlet to recharge, or a power “brick”. Both of these charging are viable options, yet very cumbersome when attempting to charge on the go. So how do you charge on the go? The answer is very simple pick up a PowerSkin case for the BlackBerry Z10!

What is a PowerSkin case? Well it is a silicone and plastic case that houses a built in 1500 mAh battery. As you can see in the video and images below the case fits snugly over the BlackBerry Z10 to keep it protected and charged while on the go. This micro USB cable plugs right in to the charging port on the BlackBerry Z10. Once the cable is plugged in you will see a little slot in the case that allows for the cable and connector to sit nicely in the case.

All in all the PowerSkin case for the BlackBerry Z10 is an excellent choice for charging on the go. We do wish the PowerSkin would have produced the case in a few color options, but that is neither here nor there. How long is the warranty period?

Who is covered under the warranty?

What is covered under the warranty?

Review: Seidio ACTIVE Combo Case for the BlackBerry Z10

We recently reviewed the Seidio SURFACE combo case for the BlackBerry Z10, this time around we are sitting down with teh Seidio ACTIVE combo case for the Z10. I am all eyes and ears when it comes to new cases and accessories for my devices, so when Seidio let me know about their ACTIVE series case for the Z10 I knew I was in for a treat. I have used Seidio products through out the years and really like the ACTIVE series for multiple reasons.

Let’s start with the design. The ACTIVE combo case/holster offers a great bit of protection while minimizing the added bulk. The case offers two layers of protection from drops, dings and so on. The first layer is a silicone case that offers absorption from impact, while the second layer offers extra protection at impact points i.e. corners. Just like the Seidio SURFACE case the ACTIVE is also available in four colors black, red, blue, and purple. As you can see in the video as well as the images below the exterior case is rubberized red and looks stunning on a black device if you ask me. One of the best features built into this case has to be the metal kickstand. The kickstand from Seidio has been made of plastic for awhile now, they have upgraded from plastic to metal. The kickstand offers a great viewing angle while watching movie or playing a game in landscape mode.

Now this is a combo case, combo meaning it also comes with a holster. This holster is a bit larger then the SURFACE combo we review, but that is not really a big deal breaker. The holster offer even more protection while being used, you place the device face in so the screen is protected. As with the SURFACE case holster, the ACTIVE case holster is felt lined to protect the screen from scratches and more. Seidio was smart when they built into the holster a magnet to put the device to sleep or wake it up when you take the device in and out of the holster.

Overall this is my pick for one of the best cases available for the BlackBerry Z10. You can pick up the Seidio ACTIVE Combo on Seidio’s website for $54.95 or you can pick up just the ACTIVE case without the holster for only $34.95.
