Official OS: BlackBerry Bold 9900 OS 7.1.0.912 from T-Mobile USA

Well, well, well, it is about time T-Mobile USA released an official OS update for the BlackBerry Bold 9900. T-Mobile is rolling out OS 7.1.0.912 for the BlackBerry Bold 9900, now this update is currently only pulling through Desktop Software at this time. I did check T-Mobile’s official update site and it is still showing OS 7.1.0.284.

To pull the OS update simple plug your device in to your PC, open the BlackBerry Desktop Software and check for updates. Let us know if you see anything different in the comments.

MTS Ukraine Adds BlackBerry 7 Devices to thier Lineup

MTS Ukraine has added a four new BlackBerry Smartphones to their lineup. BlackBerry stated that they would continue selling legacy devices to markets. The BlackBerry Curve 9220, and 9360, along with the BlackBerry Bold 9790 and 9900 now join MTS Ukraine! You can get the BlackBerry 9220 Curve UAH 1,739; or UAH 1,349 for new subscribers, and for UAH 1 for current subscribers. The 9360 Curve is priced at UAH 3,089; or for UAH 2,699 with a subscription. The 9790 Bold costs UAH 4,119; priced at UAH 3,729 by new subscribers. Finally the 9900 Bold costs UAH 5,489; new subscribers can get it for UAH 5,099.

President Barack Obama Can’t Put His Bold 9900 Down

Even the President of the United States of America cannot put his BlackBerry down for five minutes ! We can only wonder one thing does President Obama already have a BlackBerry 10 device? Powermat Wireless Charging Mod for the BlackBerry Bold 9900

I am addicted to technology and mods to said technology, so we just received this video below I knew we had to post it! The video shows off a custom modification to a Powermat wireless charging battery door for a BlackBerry Curve to a BlackBerry Bold 9900. Now there is not a wireless charging adapter that we have seen the works as well as Powermat. With that said taking a Powermat battery door for the Curve and converting it to be used with the Bold 9900 is GENIUS and NERDY all at the same time. Now we recommend that you use a small gauge shielded wire so you do not get a shock or run the risk of having the two wires come in contact with each other. Hit the break for the video on how to modify the Powermat for the BlackBerry Curve to fit the BlackBerry Bold 9900.

So after lots of thought @b_ren8 and myself have chosen the two winners of the Holiday Photo Contest from RIM and NerdBerry!! You can tell that the two winners put a lot of though into their photos. I chose the Christmas tree because to me it is the most recognized symbol of Christmas, our family’s favorite holiday. I would really appreciate winning a BlackBerry Bold 9900 + PlayBook Prize pack because both will be very useful to me, my hands are very big and one of the only BlackBerry’s that i can type on are the BlackBerry Bold 9900, i also live in an area where Near Field Communication is also very commonly used in restaurant which can also serve well. Currently i am using a very outdated BlackBerry and a new one would be awesome, my current one has gone to fix in numerous occasions and with a Brand new Bold, it would just make my Christmas gift. PlayBook picture next to my all time favorite ornament, Jessica Rabbit. I LOVED Roger Rabbit as a child and received this ornament, along w/a stuffed Roger Rabbit toy when I was a pre-teen. Kept the ornament w/me and was the 1st of my OWN personal collection of ornaments that make tree each and every year. I chose to pick the Christmas stocking to be partnered with my 9900 because the stockings hold many holiday memories for me. In my family we would gather around our fireplace where the stockings were hung Christmas Eve and would enjoy family time listening to carols, reading stories, watching a holiday movie or just talking about what we hoped the following day would bring. Afterwards, before bed, we would then be able to uncover the surprises of what our stockings contained, be it a small toy, a gift certificate, candy, or, as I discovered in x-mas of 1999, a pager. But not just any pager, a RIM branded inter@ctive 900 pager. My VERY 1st BlackBerry. My love affair with The decadent BlackBerry brand began via this family tradition. This is why only this picture could EVER do and in turn was the very first thing to pop into my mind when I saw this contest post. The power of the stocking lives on! LOL –@xAshley1983x
