Alec Saunders “We’re not getting rid of side-loading on the BlackBerry PlayBook OS or in BlackBerry 10″
In a tweet heard around the world from RIM’s VP of Developer Relations, Alec Saunders stated: “we’re removing sideloading for consumers. Pretty sure we’ve got a solution for devs.” Today Mr. Saunders has written a blog post saying that is not the case to a degree.

RIM has announce the dates for BlackBerry 10 Jam! Time for developers to dig into BlackBerry® 10 and get ready to build. On the BlackBerry DevBlog, http://devblog.blackberry.com/2012/03/join-us-at-blackberry-10-jam/, RIM today announced that it will host BlackBerry 10 Jam on May 1-3 as a concurrent conference to BlackBerry World™, the largest annual gathering for the BlackBerry® ecosystem.
