RIM sent out an email to tell them their order had been canceled and it was after that they figured their credit cards had been blocked when they tried using it at another place.
The Playbook was being sold on dutch website GoT for 19, 69 and 119 euro for the 16gb, 32gb and 64gb respectively. Looks like that was in fact an error and is now changed to 299Euro for all.
RIM canceled the orders because they were deemed “risky operations.” Tweakers.net tried to get in contact with RIM but were unsuccessful.
