Here is the catch though accordeing to CB: “This one is tricky as it’s technically for the STL100-4 but has been tested and works on the STL100-2 and STL100-3 as well.”

Michael Clewley, product manager at BlackBerry set up a BlackBerry Messenger Channel and post in the very channel some of the missing features we will se in OS 10.2. These features are standard unicode emojis, multiple alarms and level 1 notifications. The interwebs have been going crazy over the “Keep Moving” commercial from BlackBerry and the ringtone featured in the commercial. I have had the ringtone for quite sometime now and thought a few of you might want it as well. Many have asked for the name of the soundtrack from the commercial and it by the Tame Impala and the album, Lonerism has debuted on Billboard‘s Top 200 Album Chart at #34, the name of the song it Elephant.

Now, leaks by nature, aren’t supposed to be daily drivers.  There are a few issues that still need to be addressed.  Nothing major really, just some minor functionality.  For instance the keyboard for comments doesn’t work and the spacebar and backspace doesn’t either.  Posting pictures, however, works just fine and according to sources the keyboard works for that.

To stop associating your BlackBerry device with BlackBerry Link, you can remove your device from BlackBerry Link. After
you remove your device from BlackBerry Link, you can’t use BlackBerry Link to sync the data between that device and your
computer, or use the remote file access feature to access content on your computer from that device.
1. On your computer, open BlackBerry Link.
2. If necessary, sign out of BlackBerry ID.
3. At the bottom of the screen, click your device.

4. Click the *settings*  icon.
5. In the Settings view, in the left pane, click Remove Device.
6. Click OK.

If your BlackBerry device is activated on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server, some features of BlackBerry Link may be
restricted by IT policies. You should contact your administrator if you experience the following issues:

  • You can’t see your device in BlackBerry Link
  • You can’t back up your device data
  • You can’t see some of the media or documents that you saved from the work space on your device
  • You can’t restore data to your device
  • Some of your files aren’t synchronized
