BlackBerry Z10 “Keep Moving” Commercial Ringtone!

The interwebs have been going crazy over the “Keep Moving” commercial from BlackBerry and the ringtone featured in the commercial. I have had the ringtone for quite sometime now and thought a few of you might want it as well. Many have asked for the name of the soundtrack from the commercial and it by the Tame Impala and the album, Lonerism has debuted on Billboard‘s Top 200 Album Chart at #34, the name of the song it Elephant.

Texas Hold’em King Gets An Update With A Major New Feature

Magmic has updated their Texas Hold’em King game app to v1.1. And with this update comes private tables. Using the NFC or BBM on your phone you can add people to your own private table. This new feature is for VIP players only.

How the tables work:

You can invite up to 5 friends to your table
Tables will become public after 10 minutes so you and your friends can play against the rest of the world!
VIPs only! In order to reserve a private table you must be a highroller. Only casino members with 100k chips or more can get their own table!

The update is available at BlackBerry World, and the game is free to download.

AIO Remote is now “Built for BlackBerry” – Adds Support for the Q10

AIO Remote application has been updated and brings a whole slew of updates to give you better control of your computer using your BlackBerry 10 device! AIO Remote has been updated to v8 and comes with the following updates:

Q10 support.
Germany language added. Thanks to @EliasJohn6
Mouse Drag can be disabled.
File manager is unlocked for 30 seconds to try it. It is a pro feature.

This update also brings the application to Built for BlackBerry status!

Trapeez Gets An Update

Trapeez, the tumblr client app for BlackBerry 10 got updated to v1.2.0.787. What’s been updated and fixed? Quite a bit, there is a list of all the changes made. Kisai Labs has done a thorough job of fixing the major issues that users had been running into.

BlackBerry 10 Twitter and LinkedIn Apps Updated

BlackBerry is currently rolling out updates to their BlackBerry 10 Twitter and LinkedIn applications. These updates bring the versions to Twitter version 10.0.3/10.1.3, LinkedIn version 10.0.3/10.1.3 respectfully. The updates may take up to 24 hours before you see them available so keep “checking for updates” in BlackBerry World on your device.

BlackBerry Link Gets An Update For Both Windows And Mac

BlackBerry has updated BlackBerry Link, this includes both versions for Windows and Mac. Windows is at v1.1.0.37, Mac at v1.1.0.32. The update is nothing big, just bug fixes. Still important though, since bugs can be a problem.

Verizon CEO, Hopeful for BlackBerry Q10 to Meet Needs of Customers

With the BlackBerry Q10 launch to the US coming soon, Verizon’s CEO Dan Mead, sat down with CNET to talk about the future of the company in terms of mobile tech and commented on the optimism that he has for BlackBerry and the ability to have three ecosystem in which customers can choose from.

“There’s an important opportunity in our industry for them,” Mead said about Windows Phone. Likewise, there’s an important place for BlackBerry, with Mead noting that there remains a lot of BlackBerry users on the network.

While the Z10 is out in the market, Mead specifically noted demand for the Q10, which sports the traditional full BlackBerry keyboard. He didn’t say when the Q10 would launch, although it is expected at the carrier.

“We’re hopeful it will meet the needs for our customers who have been loyal BlackBerry customers,” he said.

When asked about how well Android and iPhone and BlackBerry as well as Windows Phone, and how the industry has vested interest in ensuring there are multiple operating systems available to customers

“Three to four operating systems is good for the industry and good for us,” he said.

So Verizon is on board and just as optimistic as we are for the QWERTY release of the BlackBerry Q1o and other BlackBerry 10 devices coming to the market.
