So with the release of the SDK and Simulator for Adobe AIR the topic of the day is the Playbook. RIM and Adobe have announced that they will be having experts hold 5 weeks of webcasts to help developers learn the new system.
The first webcast of a five week series hosted by RIM and Adobe experts will start on November 4, 2010 and will provide developers the opportunity to learn more about creating Adobe AIR applications for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet. Developers interested in signing up for the webcast series can visit

With RIM releasing the SDK and simulator early hopefully we will see a lot of new developers come over to Blackberry. In addition to RIM making the SDK available ahead of time the addition of developers being able to use other methods (HTML, C++, AIR 2.5, and Flash) we will see some apps that will put Blackberry in the spotlight for smartphones.
