RIM has announced a new program called ”Built For BlackBerry”. Built For BlackBerry is program that certify products that are specifically produced to work with BlackBerry smartphones and the BlackBerry PlayBook. Built For BlackBerry seems to be very similar to Apple’s “Made for iPod/iPhone” logo on accessories. Built For BlackBerry is setup to give accessory makers some technical, strategic, and marketing support. As of now the program includes the following accessory makers: Case-mate, Speck, Incipio, Otterbox, Tru Protection, iGrip, Vaja, Dicota and Trexta.
