Nielsen: RIM, Apple, and Google Tied for 2010 US Smartphone Share

Well, Nielsen released the complete 2010 report with the breakdown of the market share for the entire year. Looking at the chart here we can see that things have dipped for the BlackBerry but on the other hand there really isn’t a clear cut leader looking at everything. It is all pretty closely matched when it comes to market share.

If we look at the trends you can see that the Android OS is rapidly making up ground in the Smartphone market. I would think that the reason for the slump in the BlackBerry sales are coming from the revamp of the Product line but time will tell.
