Leaked OS 7.1.0.74 for the Bold 9900 Also Includes Wi-Fi Calling (UMA) for T-Mobile!

So earlier today we saw Leaked: BlackBerry Bold 9900 OS 7.1.0.74 with WiFi Hotspot! After testing out the WiFi Hotspot on my T-Mobile BlackBerry Bold 9900 I received a message on my screen “About Wi-Fi Calling”. Hit the break for more!

As you can see from the image below in the upper right hand corner you will see a telephone handset/WiFi icon this icon represents Wi-Fi Calling (UMA). If you scroll down a bit you will see the complete “About Wi-Fi Calling” message I received. I have made and received a few calls since loading this leaked OS and I am happy to report I have not had any calling issues! I am not sure if this feature is is only available on T-Mobile devices or not. If you are able to make Wi-Fi calls using a non-T-Mobile Bold 9900 we would like to hear from you in the comments!

OK i know i used UMA on a blackberry 8900 before so its really not a new feature just something they’ve added to “WoW” the new customers, i see no reason y the regular 7.0 OS system wouldnt have it, it would seem like a downgrade on that part compared to the 8900 if the 9900 doesnt have it.. Lame, but i cant really say since i havent gotten da fone yet, but from my research before buying i dont see reason why it wouldnt have the option.. but ill def let u guyz know later today when i have the 9900 Bold in the palm of my hands ! ; ]
