RIM Really Wants To Be Known In Southeast Asia

RIM is getting ready to make a huge imprint on Southeast Asia. They have plans to open 4000(!)Blackberry outlets in the form of flagship stores, kiosks (Indonesia), and stores in stores (lol). There won’t be many places that a Blackberry store won’t exist. Kind of like Starbucks.

But what better way to get well known, then to have a bunch of stores. As you know, they love the Blackberry in Indonesia. So this is very smart on RIM’s part. They may not be getting a lot of love from North America, so go where there is some. Thailand and Malaysia are also big targets for stores.
