The video above is of a guy named Malte Spitz for TED. He talks about how his phone company had his data, all the way back from 6 months and they wouldn’t give it to him. He sued, got the data and was able to visualize the data from that time. In short, be careful what you have on your phone Big Brother, er, (Insert your phone company here) is watching.

Multiple unanswered requests and a lawsuit later, Spitz received 35,830 lines of code — a detailed, nearly minute-by-minute account of half a year of his life.
