Video: Native E-Mail on the BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.1

Mobile LinkThe ability to have native email on the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet was added in the original release of PlayBook OS 2.0. When it was released you could only type in landscape mode, that has since changed in the release of PlayBook OS 2.1! You now can type an email in portrait mode!!! Let me say this if you were not in on the PlayBook beta OS 2.1 you were missing out as this feature was added in the beta release. As you can see from the above video portrait mode allows for much easier typing in an email.

Both portrait and landscape mode works in the native email application as well as the BlackBerry Bridge Messages application. Along with being able to type in portrait mode you can also slide the panes inside the app, like you would in BlackBerry 10.
