Research In Motion is optimistic like we are for its new upcoming BlackBerry 10 (BB10) will be a hit! Turns out that the supply chain vendors believe the same. In spite of Research In Motion held their Q3 2013 Earnings Call, which turned up better than expected results, the supply chain manufacturing the new BlackBerry 10 devices has let Digitimes know that “RIM has been adjusting BB10 and the devices as market trends have changed. BB10 will be more touchscreen friendly and RIM will also adjust service fees while no longer bundling products with plans. This will make BB10 more attractive to non-enterprise users.”
So does RIM have the formula to win back its fame and glory? Does it have the spunk to rise up in struggling markets such as the U.S. and Europe?
